Biography:
Andrea
Van
Vleet
is a
Springfield,
Tennessee
native,
and
a
1995
graduate
of
Springfield
High
School.
She
earned
a
Bachelor
of
Business
Administration
at
Belmont
University
in
1999.
After
working
at
her
mom's
small
business
for
11
years,
she
decided
to
pursue
a
teaching
career.
She
began
teaching
at
Sycamore
High
School
in
2005
and
completed
a
Master's
in
Education
from
Tennessee
State
University
in
2007.
Andrea
is a
big
fan
of
Dave
Ramsey
and
currently
uses
his
school
curriculum
in
her
Personal
Finance
classes.
"I
love
teaching
students
about
money,"
she
says.
"By
teaching
them
how
to
make
a
budget,
save,
invest,
and
avoid
debt,
I
hope
to
give
them
opportunities
that
they
never
would've
had
before."
In
2008,
she
facilitated
Financial
Peace
University
for
her
church
and
watched
the
class
reduce
their
debt
by
approximately
$30,000
in
just
13
weeks!
She
hopes
to
eventually
become
a
Dave
Ramsey
Certified
Financial
Counselor
and
start
a
financial
counseling
ministry
at
her
church
and
possibly
a
side
counseling
business.
Andrea
is
married
to
her
high
school
sweetheart,
Bradley,
and
has
two
little
boys,
Cole
and
Luke.
In
her
spare
time
she
enjoys
reading,
spending
time
with
her
family,
and
shopping
for
really
great
bargains. |
