includes analyzing business transaction,
journalizing, posting and preparing
worksheets and financial statements.

Accounting 2 is
an advanced study of concepts, principles
and techniques that build the competencies
acquired in Accounting I used in keeping the
electronic and manual financial records of a
sole proprietorship, partnership and
corporation. Departmental, management, cost
and not-for-profit accounting systems are
explored. Prerequisites:

economics and psychology are reinforced in

Personal Computing
Grade 9
This course is designed to improve student
use and understanding of information age
technology. Students will use a
variety of computer applications and tools
and will explore the social, historical and
ethical implications of using computer
technology. (1 Credit)
Personal Finance
Financial Planning
is a course designed to develop skills in
the use of financial principles in making
business decisions. Students will research
job qualifications and employment
opportunities in finance. The course
includes a study of the allocation of
financial resources, the effects of finance
and credit institutions on the business
community and the impact of financial
decisions on the consumer market. Ethical
issues will be presented in the course. (1
