Biography:
Carol Petty is from Cheatham County, and 6 generations of her family have lived in Cheatham County. She and her husband, Ken, have spent most of their lives here, with the exception of living out of the state for 7 years. They lived in Dallas 5 years and in St. Louis 2 years, both were career moves. They have 4 children, who all graduated form Harpeth High School and various universities. They are all married, with families of their own. Ken and I are blessed with 8 grandchildren – 6 of which are 2 and under (including a set of identical twins). They are members of Bellevue Church of Christ in Nashville, where Ken is a deacon. She graduated from David Lipscomb University and she received her masters’ degree from Austin Peay State University. I have taken other graduate classes at U.T. Knoxville, Cumberland University, and Trevecca. This is her sixth year at Sycamore. She loves SHS and is extremely proud to be a “War Eagle.”
