Foreign Languages

French 1

Grades 10-11

French 1 is designed to develop basic conversational skills in French with emphasis on listening and speaking. Vocabulary building, grammar, and pronunciation are emphasized. A study of basic French culture and history is included. (1 credit)

French 2

Grades 11-12

This is a continuation of French 1 which emphasizes increased listening, speaking, writing, and comprehension skills. (1 credit)

Spanish 1

Grades 10-11

Spanish I concentrates on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation with emphasis on written and oral proficiency in Spanish. This course is designed to develop basic conversational skills in Spanish. A study of the cultures of Spanish speaking countries is included. (1 Credit)

Spanish 2

Grades 11-12

Spanish II emphasized the continued study of Spanish grammar and usage with emphasis on proficiency in the written and spoken language. (1 Credit)
