Biography:
Born
and
raised
in
Clarksville,
TN,
Jean
Murphy
graduated
from
APSU
with
a BA
in
psychology
in
1981.
She
married
and
moved
to
Maryland
for
ten
years
and
earned
her
teaching
certificate
from
Bowie
State.
She
received
a
Master's
Degree
from
Trevecca
Nazarene.
This
fall
she
returned
to
APSU
to
work
on
her
EdS
degree.
Her
daughter,
Claire
is
majoring
in
chemical
engineering
at
Tennessee
Tech
in
Cookeville.
Her
other
daughter
Heather
has
joined
the
army
National
Guard
and
her
1-year-old
son
Aiden
is a
“whipper
snapper.”
She
also
has
a
foster
daughter,
Desiree,
who
is a
junior
at
SHS.
Four
cats
and
a
dog
complete
her
happy
household. |
