Biography:
I was in my mid-forties before I began to pursue a career in education. Before teaching, I was a corporate trainer for American Express. During my time in that position layoffs occurred three time due to economics. At each layoff there were people with very few career options because they did not have the education they needed. When I was laid off after 9/11, this moved me to want to do something. The reason I teach is because I want every student in Sycamore to have options in their lives. The further our students go with their education the more options that will be available to them.
